St Martin resort offers a mix of Old and New World culture

St Martin in the French West Indies is a popular destination, not only for North Americans, but also for visitors from the EU (St Martin is a part of the European Union). The French territory offers amazing beaches, superb shopping, and fine dining. There is also one other attractive feature of the island – privacy – that is best provided by one resort: Grand Case Beach Club.

Grand Case Beach Club in St. Martin is one of the few truly intimate St. Martin beachfront hotels. It a serene Caribbean oasis that is located close to world-class shopping and fine cuisine, plus many outdoor activities including sailing and scuba diving. Most people who visit Grand Case Beach Club, however, have come to relax and unwind.

Besides the a secluded white-sand beach located just steps away from the hotel, there is also a private pool and poolside lounge – it makes it easy to entertain the kids while unwinding under the blue Caribbean sky while being cooled by the refreshing trade winds.

The hotel is located in the St Martin village of Grand Case, which has gained recognition in recent years because of its great gourmet food. “Grand Case” means “big house” in the native Creole language spoken on St Martin, and there are plenty of well-preserved  Colonial-era buildings on display. Small wooden pastel-colored houses with elaborate gingerbread facades line the village’s main road—a captivating effect. This is the real French Caribbean.
